A Little About The Barn
Set along West Bay, The Barn on Sea View was built in 2016.
The family behind this place has never been especially good at small gatherings, or small houses, for that matter. There always seems to be room for a few more around the table.
The Barn was built as the guest house, while the neighboring home became the smaller house for everyday living. The two are even connected by an underground tunnel, because at the time, that somehow felt more practical than simply walking outside.
Over the years, this property has become the backdrop for countless family weekends, holidays, and celebrations. It's the kind of place where cousins happily sleep in bunk beds long after they've outgrown them, laughter becomes the soundtrack, and time somehow passes too quickly.
You may notice a few paths leading toward the neighboring house, which is privately occupied. The tunnel itself is locked off to maintain privacy, though we still think it was a pretty great idea.
We hope you enjoy your stay.

• High chair
• Pack & Play
• Two sound machines
• Baby gates
• Children's life jackets
• Toys and games
The toy shelf is on wheels and may be rolled into another room during your stay.
We please ask that all items be returned to the closet when you're finished using them.
Trash & Recycling
Outdoor bins are located in the gated area beside the garage doors.
To access the bins, twist the black handle on the gate to open.
Trash and recycling are collected on Thursdays. There is no need to move the bins for collection.
Fire Pit
To light the fire pit:
• Hold a lighter near the burner area first.
• Slowly turn the gas key until the flame ignites.
• Adjust flame height as needed.
To turn off, fully close the gas valve and confirm the flame is completely extinguished before leaving the area.
Please do not place paper, wood, or other materials in the fire pit.
If you are uncomfortable lighting the fire pit manually, please feel free to leave it off.
Be mindful of changing tides. The water is shallow by the dock, and the beach gets very small, or may even disappear at high tide. Beach chairs can be found under the cabana.
Pool & Hot tub
Hot Tub Temperature
Once turned on, it will take about 1.5 hours to heat up. It will stay on for four hours.

Safety Fence
For added peace of mind, the pool is enclosed by a removable safety fence. While many guests choose to keep it in place, it may be removed during your stay if preferred. Please note that the home has multiple points of access to the pool area, so children should be supervised at all times.
Also!
No glass is permitted in the pool area.
Plastic cups can be found in the cabinet to the left of the glasses. Plastic plates and bowls can be found in the bottom drawer to the right of the stove.
The pool and hot tub are serviced weekly on Thursday.
